Error on SAPOSS RFC connection

Hi,

We have upgraded the router system to window 7 and did saprouter certificate renewal and tried starting the saprouter using command,

  saprouter -r -W 60000 -V 2 -K "p:CN=tptrouter, OU=0001207517, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE".

Eventhough saprouter is started the  SAPOSS RFC connection getting failed, error report is shared here. Kindly provide some solution for this.

Hi Maheswari

1 On transaction Code OSS1 have you change or check the router host IP ? refer the SAP Note

33135 - Guide for OSS1

2. Check the SAProuter to outside connection.

HI,

Are the ports enabled within the systems.

Use niping command to check connection between router to sap servers and then between sap router and sap systems.

Hi Nikhil,

SAPOSS connection error persists still eventhough saprouter is restarted many times. OSS1 settings also changed and tried still same response.

From the dev_rout file it is saying as time out, so the wait time is increased  but though time out occuring. what may be the reason?

Thanks,

Maheswari.

Hi,

The issue is with router certificate expiration.

You need to apply new certificate from service market place.

Hi Maheshwari Vijaykumaar,

Are you able to reach port 3209 ??

Have you maintained correct entries in your SAPROUTERTAB file?

You need to check whether this port is being blocked by firewall.

See SAP note #48243

Also check configuration with OSS1 transaction.

SAP Router1 section

    Name : <your SAP Router's Hostname>

    IP Address : < maintain only its local IP (don't maintain its public IP)>

    Instance No. <99>

SAP Router at SAP section

    Name : sapserv2

    IP Address: 194.39.131.34

    Instance No: 99

SAPNet Message Server section

    Name : oss001

    DB Name: 001

    Instance No: 01

Hi Maheswari,

Check SAPOSS rfc connection using SM59 and test connection.

In Technical settings Tab

    Load balancing = Yes

    Target system = OSS

    Msg. Server = /H/172.10.18.31/S/sapdp99/H/194.39.131.34/S/sapdp99/H/oss001

    (please replace 172.10.18.31 with your SAP Router's local IP address)

    Group = EWA

    Save to Database as = select IP Address

In Logon&Security

    Language = EN

    Client = 001

    User = OSS_RFC

    Password = CPIC (this is case sensitive, so give all caps)

Best Regards,

Hi Maheswari,

You need to apply the Root certificate as per the sapnote http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2131531

Certificate is attached in the sapnote.

Check if the saprouttab file is alright and verify technical settings in transaction OSS1.
