how to change the default filepath name in cg3z tcode

Hi All,

I no need to give the path name every time while uploading the file.

i tried using SUBMIT but its not working

anyone please explain me about how to change default filepath in cg3z tcode.

Go to transaction FILE.

For the 'source file on frontend' go to Logical file path 'EHS_FTFRONT_PATH' and click on this and then in menu on left side click 'Assignment of Physical paths to Logical paths'.

For the 'target file on application server' it is the same procedure but for 'EHS_FTAPPL_PATH'.

Hi Cynthiya,

Changing the default path in FILE transaction will everyone who is using the system. You can always enable the history on a field by doing a Ctrl+RightClick and choosing Enable History.

Then, the next time you can just press spacebar and it will show your previous entries for the field, without having to type in the path all the time.
