Hi All,
We have a proxy to file scenario. We observed a sudden issue. The proxy came to XI successfully. Then it encountered the HTTP error "Error while receiving by HTTP (error code: 401 , error text: ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_BROKEN) (See attachment HTMLError for details)"
Later it got processed but a blank file was generated. Even before the HTTP error the target mapping was successful but post this error the target message was blank. Attached below is the steps screenshot/ message versions.
Can anyone help me understand how this happened?
Thanks,
Shaibayan
Hi Shaibayan,
This error is caused, when the message is unable to reach the Java stack. Try re-starting the ICM and then try sending it.
Re-starting ICM will resolve your problem.

Hi Nitin,
Thanks for the reply. I can see on similar line as yours that For Ex: the message came to PI at 1:00 the message mapping was successful at 1:01. Then the issue occured of HTTP 401. Then it was reprocessed and it went to the channel at 1:30. At this point the file File01:30.csv was created but was blank when it should have been created at 1:01 but due to HTTP issue it did not get created.
We are in touch with Basis on ICM.

Shaibayan
Hi Nitin,
Yes it is.
Everyday when these messages process, there is another interface which runs with huge data. At times this huge data load blocks all system resources and they are causing this temporary HTTP issue or server restart. Once this message gets processed all other messages process as desired.
Thanks,
Shaibayan
Hi,
There is no file attached, 401 it's a Unauthorized error.

Hi Roberto,
Can you elaborate what you mean by there is no file attached?
The Proxy after mapping generates a file which is placed in vendor folder. However, before HTTP error the target mapping had full data but the one after HTTP issue had blank.
How could this happen? Many time messages fail and we reprocess successfully but this time message is blank.
Thanks,
Shaibayan
Hello Shaibayan,
As suggested by Roberto abv, pls check the backend connections in SM59 for 401 error. You may refer following link for similar error:
Also can you copy the payload and try to run it in your Dev/QA system (in MM & using Test Message option in RWb / Moni) to check if any issue with payload / output
Hope it helps

Azhar
