Installing SAP GUI 6.4

Hi All,

I am trying to create a package for corporate deployment. I have created a relevant package using SAPADMIN.exe and we use Novell Zenworks 4 for deployment.

When we push the package using the following command line:

D:\SAP\Install\setup.exe :p"SAPGUI_6.4"

the install fails, it first tried to "SAPSETUP is establishing a connection to the installation service... this may take a moment"

Then it gives an error: SAPSETUP was not able to grant you administrator rights... and it fails

Any way around it?

Hi,

if u have the sap gui cd then go to that cd

double click that cd windows folder appears

double click on that gui folder appears

double click that gui win32 folder appears

in this go to setup icon where it is in orange color

Or if someone can please guide me to best installation method for SAPGUI 6.4 ??
