Dear Experts,
in the old SAP support portal, there was a very nice corner, called the SAP Guide finder.
One could then easily find procedures for system copy, installation, upgrade, etc.
Now I've spent 2-3 hours looking for it on the new portal and it has vanished completely !!
Anyone with some hint where that one went ?

You can find the guides in http://service.sap.com/guidefinder - select OS /DB, SAP version and select the task,

Thank you, this is what I have been looking for!!! But let's assume one doesn't know the direct link (as I did not, though it was easy to guess 😕 ) - is there a way for one to click himself through, in order to get there from service.sap.com (now support.sap.com) ? This was actually my original question...

You can follow the steps & snapshot to reach the guidefinder link on left hand-side :
Open the Url - http://service.sap.com
Select the - "Products"
Select the - "Installation & Upgrade Guides"
Select the - " SAP NetWeaver"
From the Main Release select the any one of the " NetWeaver 7.3/7.31 "
Just check left hand side "Guidefinder" link.

I think I know what you are referring to; we have some more customers facing issues in some browser versions. Please first navigate to <http://service.sap.com/instguidesnw74> and then choose "Launch Guide Finder". Maybe also make sure that the domain is set:
- Open IE 10 and Launch Guide Finder
- In the menu bar in Internet Explorer, click on Tools > Compatibility view settings
- Add the website: sap-ag.de and the other domains.
- Close
- Restart Internet Explorer and test
