Information about SR2 abd SPS

Hi,

We want to install the latest SAP Netweaver 2004s(Fresh install) in our lab here.

We have a 64bit m/c.

Now my questions are as follows:

a)Does the SAP NW2004s runs on 64 bit OS.How can i found it out.

b)Which is the latest licensed windows release . (a link wouild be very helpful)

c)Whats the diddferenec betweeen NW SR2 and SPS concept.

d)Which database should i use the utilise the 64 bit advatage of the m/c.

Hi Manoj

Ans 1: Yes.You can find the info in http://service.sap.com/pam

Ans2: Question not clear.If its reagarding OS then Vista is the answer but present version of SAP do not support it.

Ans3: NW04S SR2 is at SP level 9,previous version was NW04S SR1 which was at SP level 6.Actually SP has a plan like after certain support packages(SP) they release a Service Release.In short a service release comes after certain number of service pack releases.

Ans4: Again this info can be fetched from http://service.sap.com/pam.On windows you can go for MS SQL or MaxDB.
