Need help connecting to MySQL database

I ned help connecting MySQL database version 5.5.28 to crystal report 2013.

I have downloaded  the odbc connector for version 5.1 .To set it up ,.First I downloaded it and the connector from my sql website.

I fired up crystal report and tried to create a connection using the report wizard.

Before this I already created and successfully tested an odbc connection with the driver which tested successfully.

But when I point to the odbc connection through crystal reports I get an error message that says "The specified DSN contains and architecture mismatch between the driver and application"

Hi Edward

Make sure the ODBC datasource you created is 32 bit, not 64 bit. See KBA 1505620 - How to create a 32 bit ODBC data source on a 64 bit Operating System
