IT background a criteria for job opportunity??

Hi All

My name is Rajesh. My educational background is Electrical and Electronics engineering and then completed my PGDM in marketing and finance.

having sales experience of 2+ years. planning to certify in SAP SD. My doubt is after certification will non IT background be a set back for getting a job in sap as iam a fresher too ..

please give your valuable suggestions

Hi Rajesh,

Infact your domain experience adds value to you to find a job after SAP certification.

I know that you have been planning to do SD. however I would suggest to take a look at CRM instead of SD. but in the market, SD would be beneficial to CRM, however do your research. search for CRM jobs and SD jobs and compare the market rates. Take a wise decision. All the best for your certification.

SD or CRM are functional, hence Non IT Background wont be a problem.

For SD or CRM, the domain experience is very important, which you already have.

Certification and Domain Experience will add value.
