How to Monitor RFC Connection

Hi Gurus

I am trying to set up a job(SM36) to check the RFC connection and alert when the connection is broken.

I tried with RSRFCPIN, however i am getting alert even if the connection is successfull.

any thoughts on how to set up a job which can alert only when the connection is broken.

Hi Sunil, As of Solution Manager 7.10 SP10 Interface Channel Monitoring supports RFC TCP/IP connections (see also the FAQ page of our Interface Channel Monitoring wiki on SCN at http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechOps/ICMon_Home ). I hope this helps. Kind regards, Roland
