Statistical Forecasting in SAP4 Model

Hi Team,

As per IBP 5.0 model configuration guide statistical forecasting is not part of scope in SAP4 model, which I believe means that there are no statistical forecasting profiles, parameters and relevant key figures for statistical forecasting created in SAP4 model.

Is there anything technically that would discourage to create the profiles, parameters and key figures for statistical forecasting in a copy of SAP4 planning area?

Aditya,

As per our own experience on IBP 4.0.1.4, we did not encounter any particular problem to activate statistical forecast in SAP4. Basically, all you need to do is to create relevant input and output Key Figures and configure the profile according to your specific requirements.
