Missing GRC email templates in SE61

Former Member

We transported all configurations from development environment to quality and production. In quality environment we can see *GRAC* email notification templates in SE61, however in production we do not have any template including standard delivered. We activated GRC_MSMP_CONFIGURATION bc set as well.

Has anyone cameacross such issue?

Hi Arvind,

Do you see standard link between message class and pre-delivered document object in table GRFNVNOTIFYMSG?

Hi Arvind,

Are you able to see these entries in your QA as well?

Also please check if the custom templates you have created and maintained available in GRFNVNOTIFYMSGC along with the custom document objects you tagged to standard message classes.

If above all are correctly available, create a new transport selecting all entries maintained by you in GRFNVNOTIFYMSGC and try to transport it.

If possible please share your GRFNVNOTIFYMSGC screenshot along with the transport and object details.

Regards,

Madhu.

Hi Fazil,

All standard and custom objects will be in tables GRFNVNOTIFYMSG and GRFNVNOTIFYMSGC.

Go to SM30 and open these tables in maintenance view and select all entries and include in transport request.

Madhu.

Hi Madhu,

Thanks for the Reply. Basically, the problem in our case is that Forward Request is not triggering any notification. We have maintained notification settings correctly. The same set up is working fine in Dev system. Any idea, what could have gone wrong?

Fazil

HI,

the activation of GRC_MSMP_CONFIGURATION will create a TR. So, this will include the standard objects. you can also include custom messages(through SE61), in a TR.

Since Forwarding request does not send a request to a new Stage, so stage level notifications are not applicable. The request level notification is also not applicable, for forwarded request.

So, forwardee, might have been included in stage level notification

Plaban
