Rest Adapter-Polling

Dear Scn Users,

Like AXIS adapter,is it possible to pull data from a webservice using Rest Adapter Get operation.

We have SAP PO 7.4 SP10.

Yes, REST adapter supports polling mechanism - refer to Configuring the Sender REST Adapter with Polling - Advanced Adapter Engine - SAP Library.

Hello Vadim,

You have created a sender channel using adapter type REST, used REST Polling message type and chosen to configure it in the Integration Directory.

it means any special message type?? as I am not seeing polling interval in the rest channel.

Hi,

REST polling mechanism was introduced in SP11 for release 7.40. So, unfortunately, you need to firstly update the system from SP10 to SP11 and then you will get additional message protocol option when configuring REST sender adapter. Please refer to Alexander Bundschuh's blog: .
