F4 Input Help WAD shows only last selected value

When I first open a web template the F4 input help of a characteristic in the variable screen shows a list of all values. After selecting one value from the list and closing the F4 help with the ok button, the selected value appears as expected.

When I select the F4 help again(without executing the query - just from variable screen) the list contains only the one value I’ve chosen before. I’ve found no way to show the complete list again. Even deleting the selected value and opening the F4 help again doesn’t help.

I’ve got the same behavior when opening a query directly from Query Designer.

In Bex Analyzer the behavior is as expected: I always get the full list of values to select from.

System is BW 7.4 SP 9

Hi Carsten.

This is a known issue which you are facing and comes up in BW 740 with SP07 or SP08 or SP09.

Please apply below SAP note using snote which will solve your issue.

Please then check the issue again.

Can you please apply the following SAP Notes using transaction SNOTE in the relevant BW Backend system and check whether it helps you:

2109550 - Bookmark deletes filter selection

2101236 - Missing data in query with artificial characteristic Currency/Unit

2101188 - BICS: Filter on structure element is reset to initial selection

2096560 - BEx Web 7.40: Termination when using exceptions or conditions

2092810 - Filter variable on structure becomes ignored

2068075 - BICS: Values of exit variables remain empty after refresh

This should help in resolving the issue.
