unable to create work order for subcontracting PO in SNC 7.13

Hi Experts,

We are trying to configure work order in SNC 7.13. We have done the basic configuration  but work order is not being created when subcontracting PO is received in SNC.

Also, the check against "Create WOs immediately upon PO receipt" is marked. Also if we try to create Wo using PO number by report /sca/wo_create we get an error "Technical error while reading work order data".

Requesting your help to understand the missing configuration and relevant settings.Thanks in advance.

Could you please elaborate the steps that you have created for WO

HAve you created the phases correctly.

Are the Input and output materials mentioned correctly.

Hi Shailesh,

We have maintained the number range.The work order code and phase types are also defined in IMG. Other settings and master data maintained as well.

Under easy access we have maintained:

a) In general settings granularity is kept as 1 "work order per purchase order item".

b) we have defined 2 phases and for both Comp . from SC Order is kept as (S) .

We are still getting the error "Technical error while reading work order data"

Make sure that below setting are in Place:

No ranges:

-No ranges for WO in web UI need to be maintained under masterdata
-Make sure workorder types and phase types are created in customizing under work order--Codes(SAP Customizing IMG- SNC- Work Order  Codes  Define Codes and Descriptions for Work Order Types)

Under easy access
-SNC-masterdata-application specific masterdata-work order-wo config
which supplier and product config is applicable
Howmany WO should be created for PO per item
-Create the Phase structure
-Maintain the setting (Primary Product and Components in SNC)
-MAke sure TL is created
-check -General settings for Work Order Generation
