Does anyone know if SAP has standard functionality for generating automated Service Contract renewal letters 3 months before the expiration date of the contract?
1. When a contract is to be renewed (once the current contract end date has passed), would I ceate a new contract with reference to the old one... or do I simply extend the validity period (end date) on the existing contract? What is the recommended way of doing this?
Based on reply from Girish, there is no standard way to generate renewal letters.
I am still hoping that someone might have a suggestion to accomplish this with minumum ABAP.
