Hi Gurus,

I have access to a Hybris Marketing system which does not appear to have a working Product Recommendations (See RecommendationModel)

The Config Guide shows how to enable this. (see CorrectTechnicalConfig)

Out system shows no option at the same screen (see EmptyTechConfig)

The install guide says if I have the role  SAP_CEI_TECHNICAL_CONF I should be able to access this screen.Can someone guide me as to what else I need if I am to turn on product recommendations?

Hello Cliff,

the error might come because of missing user roles.

Please refer to the following page where all available user roles are listed. There is also a sample for a composite role SAP_PRODUCT_RECOMMENDATIONS given which contains all single roles relevant for Product Recommendation:

Thanks for that Bettina,

My issue is not the product recommendation. Rather it is that I can't see any option in the set up screens which are needed to enable product recommendations.

I have followed the guide with respect to the roles.

Is it possible this set up can be run only once? If someone has alread run it am I prevented from running it again and changing the options?
