Cannot access document CV04N/CV03N

Dear Friends,

When we try to display original in CV04N/CV03N, we are ending up with error saying,

C:\Temp\DOCUMENTNAME.PDF cannot be accessed.

1. We checked the temp folder and found the document descriptions are #########.PDF

2. The original we attached in DIR has arabic description

3. When we try to open other documents(originals) in English description are displaying

Hi friends,

The problem is originals with arabic description is not opening in  CV04N. If OS language is english.

And same document is opening if system OS language is ARABIC.

Any SAP notes is there to solve this problem

Have you not checked the note :(see SAP note 514500).

The setting is already done. Also if we opened the document from ARABIC OS document is opening fine.

Hi Varun,

As per your point you are unable to view the document only with the description in arabic and English version is able to display in CV04N and CV03N.

1.Can you check the content repository settings, repository should be up and in runnning status.

2.Check the DC30 settings as %AUTO% for PDF. and also DC20 settings

3.Try open the document from the temp file, If it is getting open then issue only in DC30 and DC20 settings.If you wont find the document in temp then issue is in repository.

Thanks for your reply

1. Repository is normal I think else we cant see any documents, correct me if i'm wrong

2. Checked DC30 settings application setting is %AUTO%

3. Document is able to open in temp folder.

From my point of analysis, system is checking description of document in SAP & Temp folder since document in temp folder has description as #### (Hash) system unable to access the file.
