Dashboards crashed when calling web service

Hi guys.

Very annoying problem.

Basically I have two BW systems, identically configured. I have one web service (remote enabled function module) created on each of them.

Web service from system 1 works perfectly fine, web service from system 2 causes xcelsius crash:

That's Spanish for "Xcelsius Stopped working".

I tried everything I could, different machines, windows XP, 7, 8.1 and 10, almost every xcelsius release, every Excel release... Nothing works.

Funny thing is that this was working a week ago, and no changes have made either to the system or to my machine.

Also, Fiddler throws this, only when I call the WS from the system that makes it crash:

Any idea guys what can I do to investigate further?

Hi Hector,

Can you check in the fiddler what is the status code if it is HTTP 500 then probably its coming from the netweaver server.Or the session in the fiddler might show up in red.

This issue may be related with the backend server.

In the response part in the fiddler you will get the more info about the error.
