Hi all ,
I have transported 10 datasources from system DEV-BW to system QUAL-BW.
Both DEV-BW and QUAL-BW are connected to QUAL ECC.
The source system for 10 datasources in QUAL BW is QUAL ECC.
We have added another source system (PRE-PROD ECC) for QUAL BW.
Its possible to change the source system to PRE- PROD ECC for10 datasources in QUAL BW?
how to ensure that the next time, the transport of datasources takes automatically the source system PRE PROD ECC) in QUAL BW?
Thank you
Hi Crossmen,
As per my understanding,
You have added new source system PRE PRD in QUAL BW.
Is it correct??
If yes, First replicate the data sources in QUAL BW.
Now you have to set conversion of source system maintenance in BW. Search in google how to maintain conversion of source system.
Delele entry dev ecc to qual ecc.
Add new entry dev ecc to PRR PRD.
When you transport the data source it will automatically convert the source (dev ecc) to target (PRE PRD).
Please note you have to move transformation and dtp corresponding to datasource again into to the quality system.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
are you taking about BW data source or ECC data source?
are you created the data source in BW or ECC system?
ex- have BW dev system and have source system connections form ecc dev to bw dev
you can replicate the data source form ECC dev to BW dev.
another connection for qas ecc to bw dev you can replicate the data source form ecc to BW dev
another connection for ecc pre-prod to Bw you can replicate the data source form ecc pre prd to BW dev system.
all source system connections no error then you are able to replicate the all data source form source
system to target systems.
Thanks,
Phani.
