Hi,

Extended classic scenario - SRM ver 5.5

SRM is used for certain material groups ( say mat group 1, 2, 3 )

R/3 is used for certain material group ( say mat. group 4, 5, 6 )

If the source is not identified in R/3, SRM sourcing cockpit will be used to identify the source ( using Vendor list ). In this scenario, do I need to "replicate the R/3 material group (i.e 3,4,5) ALSO" to SRM to make use of the Vendor List ?

How do I Create Vendor List in SRM, Vendor + Material or Vendor + Material Group or both possible ?

Please advise me.

if you want to do sourcing for the R/3 Material group in SRM you have to replicate the material master in SRM. In SRM Material Group - Product Category.

Once you do that then for that you can always do soucring.

Vendor List can be created for various combination

1.Purchasare org+Product Category +Product

2.Purchase org +Product.

Hi Pranav,

U need to replicate R/3 Material Group(Pordut catagory in SRM ) to SRM.3

Then in SRM you will be able to create vendor list with following combination,

1. for specific product catagory

2. for specific Product (Material)

3. for Both product catagory + Product(Materail)
