Remove a Relational Database from Metadata Management Tab

We currently have quite a few relational databases being used in Info Steward. Many of them we have no use for anymore so to clean up the unnecessary clutter in the Metadata Management page it'd be nice to get rid of them. The only thought we've had so far is to delete the integrator source associated with the database. However, that did not remove the database from the Metadata Management page as we thought it would. The database also remains in the list of databases from which you can add a table to a Data Insight project.

Is there a way to remove them to clear out the unnecessary clutter?

Thanks.

Stephen,

Try deleting the connection from CMC. If you have any rules / tasks bound to that connection sources, then you will not be able to delete the connection. You have to first delete the tasks / rules that were bound to that connection sources and then finally you can delete the connection,

If you successfully delete the connection from CMC, you won't see that database in Data Insight Connections tab of Metadata Management and also you will not be able to use that in your data insight project.

Hope the above information helps.

Thanks
