How to change the ship to party maintained in External Location field in APO Location Master

Hi Experts,

There is a field named External Location in APO Location Master.This field is not editable in APO.One ship to part is maintained in this field and I want to change this .

Could you please suggest how to change this.

Please the change the ship to party against the location in ECC and Re-CIF the location/plant to APO.

you cannot change it in APO.

Hi Ayaskant,

You have to send in APO the new Ship To as location. Check your integration model for locations and add the new ship to them. You use CFM5 to find the integration model for locations, CFM1 to create the integration model and CFM2 to activate it.

Hi Ayaskant

This fields denotes plant/vendor/customer number in ECC system. Logically its equivalent to location number in APO (until unless different working with different systems).

Question is, why do you want to change this?

Actually one warehouse got changed and due to which we have to change the ship to party number to another one.

If you are creating new ship to and CIFing the same to APO; automatically you will have this as new number. Or are you saying you are maintaining this as different then to location number itself?

If still not resolved share screen shot for location along with this fields and expectation. As above screen shot is without location number.
