Migration from XI 7.0 to XI 7.0

Hi Everyone,

We are moving our XI 7.0 EHP 16 from one system to another.  When i used the manual file transport for communication channel, all the connection details disappear.  Is there way in which i could move all my channel objects without their details getting deleted when moved from one system to another ?

Will using the CTS method for transporting the object solve my problem ?

Thanks,

Nirmal.

Nirmal,

Some parameters in channels are non-transportable (they will be not be transported using file or CTS+ transport). Example of those fields are passwords, server details, folder path...

Integration Directory Transports

"Note the following for communication channels: To avoid messages being sent from a productive system to systems in the test landscape, the Integration Builder only exports a selection of attributes. Therefore, address data (host, port) and access data (user, password) are not contained in the export."

FYI.. It is PI7.0 not XI7.0

Hi Raghu,

But my BASIS team had done this in an earlier situation.  All the channel details were there.

Your answer is very reasonable, but don't know how they did it previously.

Thanks,

Nirmal.
