SLT Replication for subset of a table

Hello SCN,

Is it possible to do a replication for a subset of a table to HANA? The original table in ERP system has close to 200 columns but I need just 5 column values in HANA system, What is the best way to do this?

Someone told me to first create a subset of that table in ERP system and fill it via a report and then replicate this subset-table to HANA. Can anybody comment on this?

Regards

Rocky

Hi Rocky,

Please post SLT related queries in "SAP LT Replication Server" forum. To answer your query, if you want to select  a subset of columns, you can easily do that.

By using advanced replication settings feature(LTRS/IUUC_REPL_CONTENT) based on your DMIS version, you get to set the target table structure before starting with your replication.

In tab table settings, for your template location, specify SLT system and in next tab as shown below table structure, you can remove the columns which you don't need.

Hope this answers your query!
