Logon to Fiori Launchpad fails on Netweaver Gateway

Hello

i had configured Fiori / SAP NW GW as described in

But when i try to login to Launchpad Url login fails.

https://cidqa31.sap.jenoptik.corp:9443/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html

I had created a User on NWGW System. But this user is not accepted. Fiori roles are assigned to user.

Do you have an idea why this login does not work ? Which user on which system i must use ?

Hi,

The URL that you use points to the SAP Fiori launchpad designer. It will not start the SAP Fiori launchpad itself.

Besides of this the error message of your screenshot just mentions what it is about: At least one of [client, username, password] is wrong.

You can try your login with a simple ping service, e.g. at https://cidqa31.sap.jenoptik.corp:9443/sap/bc/ping

In transaction SICF the service must be active.

Hi Sebastian,

Hope you are logging in to correct client. If you created in say client 200,

you need to append : sap-client=200 as of below:

/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/ui2/ushell/shells/abap/FioriLaunchpad.html?sap-client=200&sap-language=EN

Check if you are using the correct client and first have a check whether you are able to login in Gateway system in sap gui or not.

I was facing the issue of user password error. After appending the client details the issue is gone.

For login user you need to have SAP_UI2_USER_700 role to access

URL mentioned by you is Fiori launchpad designer (Admin Portal to manage apps for a login user)

https://cidqa31.sap.jenoptik.corp:9443/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/arsrvc_upb_admn/main.html

to access SAP_UI2_ADMIN_731 role required.
