SAP QM - Query reg SPC charts

Dear QM gurus,

Im a new guy learning QM with PM background.

My client wants to use the QGC1/2/3

If previously not activating the indicator SPC characteristic in control indicators while creating MIC and updating the same now.

Will the inpection lots using this MIC will show the data through QGC1 or only the lots which will be UD after activating will be shown.

Also, how to view/lock/unlock the MIC in the plan.

Kumar,

I followed ur steps but got stuck in QA01 onwards.

when i create lots using QA01, it says no insp plan could be found.

However, i hv previously created the plan for the material but could not move ahead.

Where I may have gone wrong ?

Pls guide me ahead....

I m able to generate control charts for the lots thru QGC1 and 3.

But QGC2 does not give any data - why ?

When do we use QGC2 and 1/3 ? Wats the difference

In the below chart, I notice the dates on which the values are plotted.

Two values are plotted in 7/11 & 7/13, and remaining values are plotted on dates between 7/15 and 7/16.

what is the reason behind this ?

Changing the SPC indicator alone will not do it, you have to modify your sampling procedure as well.

Concerning this and also the view/lock/unlock of MICs in plans, see SAP help or search the SCN.

Ya - sampling procedure as well as below

Assign the valuation mode as SPC inspection and need to assign the control chart type as per the business requirement

But, after modifing the MIC settings, will all the lots with this MIC show the SPC chart  throug QGC1 or 3 ?

What do the QGC2 report shows w.r.t to the tasklists ?
