SAM: No unplanned downtime of work mode management

Hello,

we have SAP Solution Manager 7.10 SP10 and we test Service Availability Management (SAM).

All steps of the configuration was done. Only step "Import Services Outages from MAI" of the SAM configuration was not executed, because we do not use technical monitoring.

We stop and start a backend system and see the unplanned downtime in the work mode management (WMM). At next we check all entries of SAM. But there is no entry of the unplanned downtime.

Some technical help or suggestions will be useful for us.

Thanks and regards,

Helmut Schröder

Hi,

we check SAP Library:

It means that no unplanned downtime is stored in SAM. Is that right?

Thanks and regards,

Hi Helmut,

have you managed to record unplanned outages in your SAM? We have same issue right now.

Hi Andrey,

we do not record unplanned downtime with WWM. But you can edit unplanned downtime manually in SAM.

Helmut,

previously we've been able to see automatically created unplanned outages in SAM. SolMan could count SLA remain time as well, but after SP13 update it's broken. Now I'm tring to understand is it possible to see automatically created unplanned outages in SAM?
