Cost Center at Sales Document Item Level

Hi All

I have an requirement to enabling cost center in sales order item level  for all sales order.

The Cost Center to be assinged at item level in all Sales Document so that document postings will post to the cost center without activating the profit center hierarchy. (Behaving like Profit Center and WBS.)

Could you please help me how to configure it.

With the standard functionality, it is not possible to activate Cost Center in sale order at item level.  You need to go for an enhancement with USEREXIT_COBL_RECEIVE_VBAP in Include MV45AFZB where you need to add the logic to move KOSTL from COBL to VBAP.  Ask your technical team to do this.

Hi A Dutta, like GL mentioned, cost center is not available for maintenance at line item level. For more details, you can refer to OSS note 1739319
