Hi

I have a webdynpro application that i have created and it is made into an iview in the Portal.

I would like to force the user to save data with a popup or something like that if he tries to navigate from my component to some other link in the portal. Is it possible. Any inputs would be of great help

Hi

You can set the workmode to "Dirty". Use the API WDPortalWorkProtect Mode.

See this link for more information.

if it still does not help let me know.

Hi

Set the preferences of Workprotect mode in Personalize option in the Portal. This will make it work.

Hi

Log into the Portal. In the Personalize option you have a place where you have to enable the WorkProtect mode and then save it. It will enable the workprotect mode. Then it should work.
