9.2 Consumption

Hello,

I'm trying to process a PMR that contains:

• Recieving product (finished good),
• Component 1 (semi-finished product)
• Component 2 (semi-finished product in a silo/tank)

• Component 1 is set up as:

          St. Method:         3 Single-Order Staging        

          Item Category:   CMP  Component

          Item Type: PCSO Single Order Parts

• Component 2

          St. Method: Not Relevant for Staging

          Item Category:   CMP  Component

          Item Type:          PCCO Cross Order Parts

If I try to stage, only component 1(product P10.3302) is creating WT for staging (this is ok).

After that, I want to consume using NWBC Tcode for consumption, I put the production order, it is only showing to consume component 1

How should I consume the component that is in the SIli/Tank? (product WC_9300798)

I have also tried to GR before consuming, but component 2 (product WC_9300798)  is not visible in any consumption transaction

Am I missing any master data requirements for consumption?

Hello Natalia,

you should be able to post the consumption from the silo. Prerequisite is that the UI for the consumption finds the stock on the PSA. For a silo, the bin that represents the silo needs to be assigned to the PSA in transaction /SCWM/PSASTAGE or /SCWM/PSASTAGE2. If your silo is an HU from the system point of view (= multiple silos, you choose one at GI), those HUs have to be placed on the bin from these transactions.

Many thanks for your reply, really good idea to represent the silo as HUs.

The issue is that transction for the consumption does not find the stock that has not been pre-staged, it only show the component1 which has single order staging method:

even though:

• The Stock type in the PMR match the stock in the bin.

and the bin is assigned in the material/PSA

Any suggestions?

Hello Natalia,

I think the issue is that the batch has been determined by ERP already. For batch determination in ERP we would recommend single order staging and for a silo (no staging) it is better not to determine the batch in ERP.

Thanks for your reply,

I have removed the batch in the PO and it is still not working, I still can't consume the washcoat with staging method " not relevant"

New PMR Washcoat without Batch

Consumption selection screen: I can select the washcoat product.

This selection is showing the Fert and the 2 components as in  the PMR.

But when I press enter it goes to this screen where nothing is found

If I just search t h econsumption required by manyfacturing order, I only get one material to consume
