NW2004s trial client copy.

Hi all,

Here are the steps I followed.

1) Created logical system.

2) Created client 100 (customizing) and assigned to it a logical unit.

3) added login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0 in profile file.

4) logged in to client 100. User = SAP*, Password = pass.

5) tools->administration->administration->client administration->client copy->local Copy.

6) Selected profile :SAP_CUST, Description : customizing.

I press start immediately followed by a continue on the next screen.

I get a message "Can not open log:
server01\sapmnt\trans\log\cc000001.msg"

Please help.

Atoo,

Ensure that the user the SAP service is running under has authorizations to:

1. The OS directory in the message

2. The SAPMNT share

we have installed Nw 2004s , and now we would like to do remote client copy using export /import method ( only customizing data ) from SAPR/3 46C system

Can any one suggest , Is is possible Any experts comments ?

Hi,

For Remote client copy the table structure should be same in both system, you can execute a test run before copying a client , it will show you that it is possible or not
