Account determination not possible for key xxx0/1234/4321/ / /xx/ /

Hi Friends

I have configured the VC10 posting area with the required parameters as follows: -

Defined main/sub already under 'Maintain document assignments'

Defined CA category already.

Comp code setup exists.

I am trying to simulate this Act determ. by clicking on Simulation button, But I am getting the below error -

"Account determination not possible for key xxx0/1234/4321/ / /xx/ / "

Please advise, what else am I missing here.

Hi Giri,

Good  morning

Please try following:-

1) Go to details, and check the main/sub transaction.

From there you can navigate thru error analysis and it will take you to the configuration in SPRO.

Check the key specified in the error log,

If the entry is not present please maintain it

2) Please check the configuration for Automatic GL account determination.

You can go to this path:-

Path -: SPRO -> Financial accounting -> Contract Account receivable and payable -> basic functions -> Postings and documents -> document -> define account assignments for automatic postings -> Automatic GL determination.

I hope this solves your issue.

Check if this note can help you.

2141413 - VC10: Customer-specific account determination, simulation of account determination contains errors

Otherwise it may be due to incorrect config in acc determination. You may have to revisit your config.

Thanks for your response. Now the error is fixed. I had to double check the whole config.
