Hi experts,

I'm having when installing the Server Components of SAP B1 HANA. Please see log below.

APPTECH-SAP:/tmp/hana/51049455/Packages.Linux/ServerComponents # ./install.bin

ls: cannot access /tmp/hana/51049455/Packages.Linux/ServerComponents/RPM/*.rpm: No such file or directory

TEMP_DIR set to /tmp/B1ServerTools.b3sWAl3nsk

./install.bin: line 122: + : syntax error: operand expected (error token is " ")

rpm2cpio: /tmp/hana/51049455/Packages.Linux/ServerComponents/RPM/B1ServerToolsJava64*.rpm: No such file or directory

cpio: premature end of archive

rpm2cpio: /tmp/hana/51049455/Packages.Linux/ServerComponents/RPM/B1ServerToolsSupport*.rpm: No such file or directory

cpio: premature end of archive

./install.bin: line 154: /tmp/B1ServerTools.b3sWAl3nsk/opt/sap/SAPBusinessOne//Common/sapjvm_7/jre/bin/java: No such file or directory

But all the missing file or directory is existing in the rpm folder. Please see below:

APPTECH-SAP:/tmp/hana/51049455/Packages.Linux/ServerComponents/rpm # ls

Hi Guys

this is the Answer , open terminal -->yast or yast2 --> software management-->search for zip , and install zip and exit yast2.

now run the install.bin , it will go through.

This made it, although I didn´t have internet access on the HANA Server, I downloaded the zip RPM package from here

software.opensuse.org: Install package Archiving / zip

Dear All,

For me, I didn't see install.bin file in ServerComponent. So how can I do?

Thanks

Hello Bryan,

the rpm folder is created in lowercase, but the installer searches in the RPM folder (in uppercase), maybe this is the issue. You can try to manually change the folder and retry, but I would investigate further on the issue before any workaround.
