Hi Guys,
I want to perform profit center planning in the Sfin 2.0, I do not intend to use integrated business planning for now.
I want to know how to proceed for this.
Some questions which I have are:-
1) As first step to have Profit center planning in new GL is to have "Install the summary table - T Code GLPLINST (Table FAGLFLEXT)"
But FAGLFLEXT is replaced now, so if I run this step what will be effect.
Since this is a view can I still use it for profit center planning as in New GL?
2) Is there some other summary table like ACDOCA which I should use now?
3) There is also a planning option in the NWBC - SFin:Planning -> Profit center planning period / year. Can I use these, if yes what is their relevant tcode in ECC
4) What is general SAP advise in this scenario and if using normal FICO planning vs IBP planning should we go for.
Any help in this direction will be useful.
Regards
Rishab

Hello Rishab,
classic planning in FI (Balance Sheet, P&L, ProfitCenter, ...) is not available any more in sFIN. It has been replaced by IBPfor Finance. We are working on a migration for existing FI plan data.
This does not apply to CO (CostCenterPlanning etc). There you have the option.

Hi Stefan
Can you clarify if the IBP planning solution will create plan records in ACDOCA in the same we created plan records for FAGLFEXT or GLTO? The table has the record type availble put there doesn't seem to be a way to create a plan record either directly for ERP or from IBP.

Tony
Hi Rishab,
We reactivated classic profit center planning with note 2253067 in two enviroments, in the first enviroment we run GLPLINST, now we can add the table FAGLFLEXT in transaction GLPADM and we can create planning records in this table.
In the second enviroment when we try to add FAGLFLEXT table in GLPADM we have the following message "Table name is not allowed in profile maintenance". My guess is that we have to run GLPLINST in the secod enviroment but we would like to know if this is correct and if it will have repercussions.

Hi - for classic PRCTR planning (in FI) check out note 2253067. Fo PRCTR planning in IBP - just open the corresponding XLS. Please note: If you use both ways of planning: there is no data exchange (retraction & extraction) like it is for CostCenter & Order & Project planning.

Hi,
If you want to plan wtihtout using Ibp you could use Renovated planning that is the old KP06 transaction in web dynpro application
Fi
To have this in SFIN 2.0 you have to active 2 Business function
