Hi Experts,
I'm informed by one of my colleagues, that there's 1 Sender FTP channel that some times does not consume the file generated at the FTP server.
This keeps happening like once in a month in average. They need to stop/start the channel to make the file processed by the channel.
The file size generated could vary from 5mb - 200mb. I've checked the CC monitoring and I cannot see error log (as the polling time is set to 30 seconds, I think the cache log has been overwritten, Does CC error message get persisted?)
I haven't got the chance to gather more information.
Has anyone experience this before? Is there something that I should check?
Thank you,
Suwandi C.
Hi Suwandi,
Does CC error message get persisted?)
Only during a few minutes, however you can try to search the audit logs in the message monitoring (Adapter Engine level).
In my own, the problem could be in a memory overload, talk with your basis team to increase the number of java nodes and the possibility to increase the memory.
What is your PI version?, is it a pass-through scenario?
Regards.

Hi Suwandi,
The issue might be due to the file channel hanging issue.
Can you please refer for the timeout section in the below note:
Check note #821267 - FAQ: XI 3.0 / PI 7.0/ PI 7.1 File Adapter
