Replicate data from fields of Z table in SAP to VBAP table in HANA

Friends,

I have a requirement to move data from 2 fields of a Z table to VBAP table in HANA. Replication for VBAP is already set so it is synced with SAP currently. I just want to add Filed1 and Field2 at the end of VBAP and sync data from Field1 and Field2 of ZTABLE  in SAP.

I checked the tcode IUUC_REPL_CONTENT in SLT and I found that we can write trigger to replicate data from here. But is it possible to add a new trigger on ZTable where we can sync the 2 fields with VBAP fields?

Hi Shriniwas,

I am not sure if you can use SLT and meet this requirement since it demands the source and target data structures to be same. Why not create a view in HANA?

Hi Harshad,

I am aware of triggers in SLT  which get created automatically at the time of replication. I am just curious about if we can modify the trigger to divert the data flow in some other table already present in HANA. I think it should be possible.
