ChaRM import: Table SCTS_TRACK_MAIN

Hi

We have just completed an import (via ChaRM) to Production. We are on Solman 7.1 SP12

Before the import was able to be executed via the task list, it scanned for around 30min table SCTS_TRACK_MAIN

http://www.se80.co.uk/saptables/s/scts/scts_track_main.htm

I have no idea what this table is for but it appears to be related to cCTS. Should this appear when importing via ChaRM? Usually we can schedule jobs immediately and don't have to wait 30min for this to finish.

Is this related to Cross System Object Lock or is it purely cCTS? We are not using cCTS when we activate ChaRM so feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Shaun

Hi Shaun,

seems this table act as percistence means stores all the needed information of the transports, i suppose DGP either or the way scans this table.

Advantage is if you have the latest CTS plug SP15 woud improve the performance.

Please check and update cts plug and apply the note 2099881 - Corrections for component CTSPLUG 2.0 SP15

Thanks and Best regards,

Jansi

Thanks Jansi.

So, to improve performance when importing via ChaRM, I would have to:

1. Updated CTS_PLUG to SP15

2. Implement Note 2019413 into Solution Manager

3. Ensure instructions in 2018226 are followed

4. Implement Note 2099881 into Solution Manager

5. Implement Note 2019413 into ALL managed systems in ChaRM

Cheers

Shaun
