project name field is blank in SE01 for TR created from CHARM

Hi Experts,

Need your help on the below issue:

The project name field is empty for transport requests created from CHARM, users are assigning project from charm but it is not reflecting in TR when checked manually from SE01 in managed system. But we could see the project name from charm document. Because of this users were not able to release this TR and import from CHARM.

Please advice thanks in advance.

This is only problem with one project related PI, the rest of the projects are fine.

Create new maintenance cycle for the same project and check whether the transports have been updated with project .

Hello Abdul,

In Transport Organizer Tools SE03, in Administration:Display/Change Request Attributes.  Set SAP_CTS_PROJECT - Project in Change and Transport System to obligatory (X).  This forces all transports created to belong to a Project.

If already existing Charm setup..then probably you should check this parameter whether it exists or not.

The attribute is already marked as Obligatory in managed system.

1. Check project status which might not be allowing the creation of change requests. check

    SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN---->>>tab Transp. Requests - CTS project status switch.

    Confirm the pop-up and expand node <SID> 100 System <SID>. Then set the status from   "Requests cannot be created" to "Requests can be created" with the change icon

2. Check the sap note 1592706 if applicable.
