credit note value not larger than invoice to which it refers

How can be built in a control that prevents that a credit note (line) is larger than the invoice line it refers to?

Can we do this when we create the order via VA01? if so in what way

Before posting here, have you tested creating a credit note with more value than invoice ?  Please test in your system and update here with your findings.
