Visibility of Documents in the WEB UI Search : Can only see own documents

Hello Experts,

I have something strange happening.

We have implemented ITSM ChaRM for our client, and created users and business partners.

The first 4 business partners we have created, a long time ago, can search and see any documents that have been created.

The new users/business partners we are creating, with exactly the same roles (so it's not about authorizations) can't see documents where they are not affected. They can see only "their documents".

We have tried giving a SAP_ALL to one of these users to test, but it won't change that behaviour.

Is there a customizing / parameter to decide if a User/BP can see any documents or only the ones where he has a function?

Hi Roger,

are both user groups using the same business role?

Furthermore its sometimes a buffer issue. I just had this last week. Try to delete the buffer via comment:

/$sync

Also the ie-cache should be deleted.

Thanks for the reply.

The client told us today that everything was fine... (We didn't do anything) It was indeed a buffer issue.

Actually, we have this behaviour for newly created users, but then there is a job that runs and take care of that:

HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE

If we run the job manually after creating the new BP, it seems the issue is solved...

Good to hear it solved the issue. In detail its an Org-Data-Buffer issue..it means how the SolMan reads the Org-Data.

In SU01, Put user, in the parameter field add new parameter called CRM_UI_PROFILE and value as SOLMANPRO.

Hello Anand,

Adding the SLMANPRO in the parameter CRM_UI_PROFILE will give the Business Role SOLMANPRO to the user, right? This is not our issue... Both users already have Business Roles (the same).
