Where to get ESS Source Files

Hi all,

I have a requirement to change the layout design and make some fields not

editable in Ess.(particularly in Change Own Data)

Since I have deployed only sda files for ess, i am not having the source file to

make thos changes. I need to know how and where to download the ess

source files.

Can anyone please help me.

Hi there,

If you are using NW04s there is no need to make code modification to do this.

You can set the fields to display only using the portal configuration. This is part of the functionality of the page builder.

In NW04 - however, I'd suggest getting hold of the code is probably the easiest way to go.

Hi,

In ESS for leave Approval, i want to remove the three steps and make it as single step.

For Ex: When we want to approve leave, there is 4 steps,

1. Click on the leave request of employee

2. Click next->where it will opens comments box,

3. Click review

4. Click Approve Request.

My requirement is instead of above 4 steps,

When I Click on Leave Request of Employee, it should open the leave details of the employee wiht the comments box and Approve Request button.

How to proceed to achieve the above functionality.
