Windows patch support for ME systems

Hi,

We use to patch our ME 5.2/6.1 system which are running on windows 2008 /2012 every month to their latest Microsoft patch level.

Is there any guide/note for recommended windows patch level for these ME systems. What startegy should be followed for applying new windows patch on the system.

Please advise.

Hello Daniel,

There is no specific recommendation for patching Windows. Basically SAP supports OS version and it doesn't matter which patch it is. SP level might matter though. Thus I would recommend to stick to general patching approach and not to worry about it much.

But I believe the support comes from NW platform support of the OS's. ME is just an app running on NW, so it supports all the OS's that are supported by NW installation.
