Incomplete description on APO ATP screen in line of ATP element for Sublocation\Version Number

Hi All,

Our users work in Russian. In transaction /SAPAPO/AC03 - Product Availability we have incomplete description on APO ATP screen in line of ATP element for Sublocation\Version Number.

(Please see example in the attached file "Example_Incomplete_description_Product_Avail.jpg" )

Is it possible to shorten the description «Sublocation\Version» ? Where the system keep it?

It may have extensions for /SAPAPO/AC03?

It seems the issue is with field length. In case of English it's very well within length maintained for this field (data element). In case of Russian its more so getting truncated.

If you press F1 on the description itself, click on technical information and then double click on the data element you would see the length for this data element. Check in English & Russian how much it is populating and compare the same with standard maintained.

It seems same is mentioned in note 1289844 & 1056602 but for some other field/menu (check just for reference). Check with your ABAPer if length could be increased to resolve the issue.

1289844 - TLT_DUET1_SP01: Russian text is cut off

1056602 - Unicode Texts truncated in SPRO and Area Menu

Hello,

Please have a look on OSS note  1413667 - Element texts are incorrectly displayed in /sapapo/ac03.

I would suggest please raise this issue to SAP.
