I think system is behaving correctly here. I can see that expiry date is already is crossed and next inspection date falls after the expiry date. At such situation if you run QA07 then the batch gets moved to restricted status and generally not visible in MMBE. You can check the same in MB52.

As per my understanding, if you want the batch should be transferred to QI with inspection lot generation then you should run QA07 on the day which is later of next inspection date but before expiry date.

Hi

Try by changing Expiry date with future date. Still it is showing Past date.

Logically Expire material should be in restricted ( Blocked) stock.

I was trying to say that, inspection lot for 09 type is generated when next inspection date is crossed but the expiry date is not crossed. But if the expiry date is crossed then lot is not generated and batch status changes to restricted if batch status management is active.

HI,

attached 09 insp view

I added interval date - to the insp view  --- result is the same

Anand - the insp date can be even in the future that is why you writing the value "initial run in days"

to define the range of batches that you want to process.

you can lock down batches earlier than the insp date (because kitting for shop order can take 30 days in this period the batch can be already out of date)

Thank You

Hi

Now keep your Expiry date to future date and try. It should work.

Can you please check Stock overview of particular batch. For Expired batch Quantity will be in restricted stock  So no meaning in creation of Inspection lot.

Hi

In the first screen you have shown the inspection setup of 01 inspection. Please show the screen of 09 inspection type. Also you have to maintain the Inspection Interval. That is how frequent you want recurring inspection (Means 30 days/60 days/90/365 dys etc). For testing keep it one day and run the scenario. If you do ud of lot created then and there for 1 day setting you will get lot for everyday.
