Hi folks,
We will be using transaction CO19 to post time events against production orders. Shop floor workers will use CO19 in dialog with input help via scanners.
We will also be having the workers post time for non-production activities (e.g., safety meetings, blood donation, engineering briefings).
We want to keep track of the time spent on these activities using the same UI that we use for production orders (i.e., CO19). Main reason is for simplicity and consistency of solution design and shop floor procedure.
My thought is to create faux production orders with settlement to internal orders for each of the activities we want to track (examples above). Would require also creating one or more dummy materials that a production order can be created against.
Any other suggestions from you who have faced a similar need?
Thanks in advance.
Tom
