Thanks in advance
Hello Kondareddy,
Transportation & Delivery SCHEDULING
1. For each sales document type, you can define whether a delivery scheduling and/or a transportation scheduling will be carried out.
2. All activities that must be carried out before the goods can be delivered to the customer are taken into account during delivery scheduling. This includes loading, picking, and packing. Delivery scheduling determines the material availability deadline and the loading deadline.
3. All deadlines that are used for preparing and carrying out the transportation of goods are taken into account during transportation scheduling. This includes the transit time and the transportation lead time that you need for ordering a foreign forwarding agent or for arranging a truck from the your company's truck fleet. The goods issue deadline and the transportation scheduling deadline are determined by transportation scheduling.
4. The entries in the Carry out control of the Availability check control the data, you tell the system to take into account when carrying out the Availability check to meet a specified delivery date.
5. the business functions required to be performed before a delivery date can be met are
Procuring material, such as obtaining from a supplier.
Planning a transportation to obtain specie on a ship for example.
Selecting and packing the items
Loading the materials
Transporting the materials to the customer.
6. This process of scheduling the business process from the requested delivery date backwards in order to meet a specified delivery date in called backward scheduling.
7. should the material be not available for the requested delivery date after carrying out the backward scheduling, the system then does forward scheduling, projecting the earliest possible delivery date depending the material availability date
Reward if helps

Hi Reddy,
Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling
Shipping activities and transportation can be scheduled automatically in sales documents.
Picking/packing and loading, transportation scheduling and transportation can be planned and optimized on the basis of the dates determined.
There are two different types of scheduling:
Delivery scheduling
The SAP System takes into account the pick/pack time and loading time for a transaction.
You define the type of delivery scheduling for each shipping point.
Transportation scheduling
The SAP System takes into account the transit time and the transportation scheduling time for a transaction.
You define the type of transportation scheduling on the basis of the route (see sections "Route definition" and "Route determination").
You define for each sales document type whether delivery scheduling and/or transportation scheduling should be carried out.
For the dates to be determined automatically on the basis of the requested delivery for an order item, you must define both the times and what influences the determination of the date.
You need to carry out the following:
Define for each sales document type whether scheduling is to be carried out and, if so, which type.
Define the indicators for scheduling for each shipping point.
Define:
Pick/pack times
Please fallow below steps:
SPRO > Logistic Execution > Shipping > Basic Shipping Functions > Scheduling > Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling
STEP 1: Define Scheduling by Sales Document type
Here have to assign your Sales Document type to your Del and Transportation Scheduling if the system what to carry the Scdheduling Automatically.
STEP 2: Define Scheduling by Shipping Point
Here if you want to carry Determine Loading time and Determine Pick/Pack time Just select the "C"- Default for Shipping Point and give respective Hours/Days here.
STEP 3: Maintain Working Hours
Here can maintain shift like ( Morning, Afternoon Shifts etc., with respective Start and Finish time.
STEP 4:
Here we can difine duration for Shipping point,Routes, Pick/Pack time and Loading time.
Hope this solves your Purpose. Please Reward Points if really helpful,
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
first u have to maintain determine times like loading time, picking/packing time in shipping point and u have to assign factory calender to shipping point. If u r not maintaining routes transportation scheduling is not required. Transportation scheduling can be maintain if ur maintaining routes. In the definition of route u have to maintain transportation leadtime, transit time etc to be considered by the system. Both delivery scheduling and transportation scheduling u have to assign to the required sales document type. From the material availability date the system adds the loading time, pick/pack time u mentioned in the shipping point and gives the goods issue date, if there is a route in sales order then system consideres transit time and transportation lead time maintained in route definition and gives the delivery date.
