FB03 - making attachments invisible

My requirement is to not display attachments for a particular document type in FB03. So basically the documents created via PR05(document type - KE)have certain attachments. These should not be visible in FB03. Any points for the same would be useful.

Hi,

unfortunately, I have to say that your request cannot be fulfilled

in the standard. The Generic Object Services are use by many applica-

tions and in general are working independent of the application. That

means that enabling/disabling of function based on the status of the

application object is not possible.

The only thing that can be done in the following:

The GOS services can be started in a 'Display' and an 'Edit' mode. This

mode can be linked to the applications mode, e.g. edit functions like

create or change an attachment is only active if the application is

in 'edit' mode as well. If the application is in 'display' mode, these

functions are disabled.

yes you can restrict. In standard you could use the new authorization object S_GOS_ATT from

note #1293080. This is however only available from SP SAPKB70019.

(this cannot be implemented via SNOTE).
