how to maintain the conversion factor for base units any body have idea just throw me a light .

Hi Hari,

If it is for the sale unit of measure, then you can go to the sales org.1 tab of the material master and enter the sale unit. System will automatically pop up a window in which you have to enter the conversion factors. If it is a standard conversion then there will not be any pop up as system will assign automatically. For eg: Base UoM is G and if Sale UoM is KG, then there will not be any pop up.

All these conversions are stored in the additional data as mentioned by Srini.
