Hi,
I am New to WebDynpros.I have Created Webdynpro Application and when i Deployed it.Its Displaying Deployment Aborted Error.
Reply ASAP.
Thanks and Regards
Kumar.
I got same issue with my NW2004s SP13 and got it resolved by the below steps.
1.Reset the password for j2ee_admin in Su01.
2.Reset in configtool>SecureStore>admin/password/SID
3.Restart the Java Engine
4.Backup the /interfaces/security/data/SecStore.key and SecStore.properties
5.Copy the /sapmnt/<SID>/global/security/data/SecStore.key and SecStore.properties
to /interfaces/security/data/
The file system here /interfaces/security/data/ could be different in each case where you create Secure store with your security policies.
This could help you after all the different exercises to resolve the issue.

Karambir, and Srinu,
I must say that you are lucky that you were able to deploy each time you restart your server, in my case i am able to login using my new password but have problem to deploy using NWDS version 7.0.09 and Web AS J2EE 6.40.
Don't know why.

Hi Kumar,
This error message shows, problem is not with SDM or j2ee engine.Problem is with <b>connectivity</b> to j2ee engine,to get the details.
<b>solution:</b>
Go to configtool,
c:/usr/sap/SID/JCxx/j2ee/configtool/configtool.bat.
use Default DB settings.
Go to securestore,
change admin/password/SID password and
jdbc/SID/pool/password to administrator password.
save and restart the engine.
and then continue deployment.
It should work.
reward points if helpful.

Hi,
One of the reason.
You may have changed Administrator password and is not updated in secure storage. Please refer note 701654.
Solution
Use the Config Tool to change the entry in secure storage as follows:
1. Start the Config Tool.
(Execute <SAPj2eeEngine_install_dir> \configtool\configtool.bat.)
2. Select the secure store node.
The configuration for the secure storage in the file system appears.
3. Select the admin/password/<SID> entry.
4. Enter the administrator user's new password in the "Value" field and choose "Add".
5. Choose "File" --> "Apply" to save the data.
Note: Contrary to the message that appears, you do not need to restart the server or cluster for this change to take effect.
6. Finally restart SDM server.
regards
Hi Kiran,
You need to enetr the engine details before deploying
Have you filled in the value of message server host (eg http://htc7777d:50000/irj/portal)so htc7777d is the message host
and the server port value in NWDS >Windows>Preferences>SAP J2EE Engine.
After filling in the value go to Window>Show View>J2EE>J2EE Engine click on it .A window opens check whethet the instance is in green or not..

Plz Reply ASAP.

Hi Kiran,
Your server is located on host SUN64. But, your machine did not recognize this host name. So, make and antry for this host name with IP address in hosts file.
You can find host file at c:\windows\drivers\etc folder.
Once you make an entry for Hostname IP address in this host file you can deploy your application on the server.
Let me know if you have any other problem.
Regards,
Bhavik
hi,
when this error occurs, <b>only 3 causes</b> can be there,
1) Server entry is not done in Window->Preference->SAP J2EE Engine , enter you server infor and port info
2) Entry is not done properly in host file start->run->drivers->etc->host, make entry like
<IP address of server><tab separated><qualified host name include domain if they are out of domain>
3)Check out if your J2EE server is working
hope it helps
regards
Hi Kiran,
did you change the Administrator password recently.
if so u need to update this in J2EE engine configtool.
for this you need to open the configtool.
which is present in <drive>/usr/sap/<system id>/JC<system No>/j2ee/configtool/configtool.bat
when u open this u can see a cluster data-> Secure store at left hand side
select that.
and chaneg the following things to the right side
i.e
admin/password/J01= new password of Administrator user id
admin/pool/j01/passowrd = new password of administrator id
and click on save and restart u r server.
thand then u try to deploy u r web dyn pro application with new password which u have set under secure store
note:; password should be same for Administrator user id under secure store and for portal login
rgds
srinivas
This may be issue with chnage in your Administrator password.
