How to enable MDG Analytics Graphical View ?

Hi,

To enable MDG SLA reporting/analytics functionality I have followed the standard scn pdf: "Activating BI content for Analysis of Change Requests within SAP MDG"

And Link: Enabling Detailed Analysis of Change Requests - General Settings - SAP Library

I have Activated BI content, Set up BCV, Assigned roles to user, Changed authorization objects, Defined SLA in MDGIMG, Activated services listed in pdf except two services- default_host > sap > bc > bsp > sap > esh_sap_link and default_host > sap > es > search.

After this, when I open Processing Time (graphical view) I see below given screen:

I have NOT installed BI Java Server yet. Is this mandatory ? If yes then what is the reason? Is there any other impact after this installation ?

Also, I have not installed Xcelcius. Is this mandatory ? f yes then what is the reason? Is there any other impact after this installation ?

Hi Do we need to install java server ot adding roles to the lanchpad would be fine?

Not yet.

Basis is in progress of installing BI Java Server in MDG landscape.

I shall update if it works after that.
